Saying Goodbye to 2011, With Great Expectations for a Fantastic 2012 Ahead!

After what seemed like could have been a rollercoaster ride, 2011 ended up being an amazing year with overall sales coming in at over 12% from the previous year! When you think about it, after all the negative press about our industry, numbers like that is excellent news! And to top it off, our sales in December were also higher than they have been in over five years.

Celebrating Good Times Gone By and More Yet to Come

To commemorate our superstar agents, we wanted to highlight your achievements and thank everyone with a festive and over-the-top Christmas party this year. So we did just that. Giving away more than $6,500 in cash prizes was a real joy for us this year as we had the opportunity to say “thank you” to the cornerstone of our business – you, our agents.

Not only that – it was with your help that we were able to collectively raise about $10,000 to benefit the local homeless shelters right here in Omaha. Nothing gives us more pleasure than to be serving the housing industry while giving shelter to those in need at the same time.

Thanks to you, our valued team, for the seventh year in a row we have achieved top status in fastest days on market time – something that we continue to shine on year after year.

Absorption rates in December have not been this low since 2006, over five years ago! At 6.6 months of absorption we are looking at a strong trend that will undoubtedly lead to market stabilization sooner than any of us could have predicted just a few short years ago. Couple that with our sales performance in December and you can see that an even stronger market is on the horizon.
